These enhanced incentives, designed for moderate-income households, can cover substantial installation costs for qualified high-performance heat pump equipment.
Steps for Claiming a Mass Save Rebate
- Call 800-797-6699 to complete a no-cost home energy assessment.
- Make any necessary weatherization upgrades.
- Find a qualified in-network, HPIN Mass Save contractor near you—that’s us!
- Confirm equipment is eligible for Mass Save rebates. We’ll take care of this step for you and offer solutions to fit your home and budget.
- Install equipment.
- Complete the online rebate form—The Fuel Company completes the form and sends confirmation to you.
- Mass Save issues your rebates 12-16 weeks after rebates are submitted.
Mass Save HEAT Loan: 0% financing

Steps to Qualify for a HEAT Loan
- Call 800-797-6699 to complete a no-cost home energy assessment
- Receive a HEAT Loan intake form as part of the assessment
- Get a proposal from an HPIN Mass Save contractor—that’s us!
- Send the HEAT Loan Intake Form with a copy of our proposal to RISE Engineering. Lender does final determination for loan.
- Receive HEAT Loan Authorization Form for allowed amount from RISE Engineering
- Take the HEAT Loan Intake and Authorization forms to lending institution and apply for the loan
- Receive a loan agreement and two-party check made out to the contractor and homeowner; have work done and pay contractor
- Upon completion of work, notify RISE Engineering to schedule a verification inspection
